Thank You & Welcome!

Thank you for your interest during this time of unprecedented uncertainty.

Dear Friends,

As Many of you know, I closed-out the final design/remodeling projects this past December and have been devoting full-time to my fine-art sculpture ever since.  As the challenge I was feeling became clear to me -- capturing in a static sculpture the power and grace of the female body in motion -- it was all I could concentrate on.  My head was constantly in the studio.

What drives me is the idea and not a medium or style.  In fact, experimenting with material, scale and form is what helps me in this exploration.  All of my work starts by hand-sculpting a figure in wax.  I then digitize the wax model and manipulate it digitally -- perhaps by slicing or hollowing or extending -- and then using a variety of fabrication techniques to realize the figure in anything from a small, table-top sculpture to a monumental scale and with various degrees of abstraction.  Recently, I've been working in wood, steel, bronze and plaster.

I would love to show you more. I’m the only one in the studio so I can do safe (socially distant) studio and gallery visits. Or we can do it virtually. Just get in touch and we can arrange something.

Please stay healthy and safe,
Best,
Jackie .
