Inspired by a song of the same name by Hailee Steinfeld. Part of the Momentum series celebrating the strength of everyday superwomen. With both abstract and figurative elements, the sculpture is quite contemporary and modern. It continues the sculptor’s interest in capturing the essence of motion in a static figure. The steel components form graphic lines that emphasize both the figure's form as well as her motion.
Note: It is made from welded, corten (self-weathering) steel which will quickly form a beautiful orangy-brown patina and then stop rusting. You can already see the patina starting. The sculpture is approximately 400 lbs and has holes to allow it to be bolted to a concrete plinth with ½” bolts.
