Rosalita is an indoor or outdoor sculpture. It is composed of planes of painted steel and transparent, colored acrylic. It’s a large tabletop size – perfect for your outdoor patio table where it will reflect and refract the sunlight.
The sculpture was inspired by the fantastic petticoats in Spielberg’s West Side Story. I was enchanted by how they celebrated the movement of the dancers.
Rosalita is mounted on a painted wood and steel turntable. It allows you and your guests to reposition the sculpture easily. The movement is too tight to allow it to move in the wind but is easily turned by hand.
